Robert Gilman, DACM, A.P.,
Dr. Robert Gilman earned his Master of Traditional Oriental Medicine, and his Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine degrees from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, CA, and holds additional certifications in Japanese Meridian Therapy, Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture, and is a certified Reiki Master. Dr. Gilman discovered acupuncture following a back injury that ended his career as an airline pilot. He was so impressed with the relief he felt after just one treatment, he was compelled to learn this medicine and to share it with others. Dr. Gilman practices a style of acupuncture called Japanese Meridian Therapy as taught by Japanese Masters, Shudo Denmei, Ikeda Sensei, and Kiko Matsumoto, which focuses on putting the body in balance, allowing one’s own natural healing ability to thrive. Dr. Gilman is a nationally certified Acupuncture Physician through NCCAOM, and is licensed to practice acupuncture in the State of Florida. Dr. Gilman is currently serving as the Clinic Director at FCIM, in addition to teaching TCM foundational courses.

Jie He, A.P., Dipl.O.M.
Jie He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Florida College of Integrative Medicine with a Bachelor of Professional Health Studies and a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine. She is Board-Certified with a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine status from NCCAOM, also certified in Acupoint Injection Therapy. Coming from a family with deep medical roots, Jie He’s grandfather, a distinguished physician in China, practiced both Western and Traditional Chinese Medicine, while her mother is a retired doctor. Jie draws on three generations of family knowledge and experience in Acupuncture, Tuina (Chinese Massage), and Herbal Medicine. She continues to expand her expertise through ongoing study, committed to compassionate, peaceful healing.

Cynthia C. Li, A.P., Dipl.O.M.
Cynthia Li studied Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine at Florida College of Integrative Medicine (FCIM) and earned her Bachelor of Science in Professional Health Studies and Master of Science in Acupuncture and herbal Medicine.
Cynthia has had a passion for Traditional Chinese Medicine since her childhood. She is nationally certified Acupuncture Physician through NCCAOM, and is licensed to practice acupuncture in the State of Florida with qualification of acupoint injection therapy.
Prior to her study at FCIM, Cynthia Li earned a Master of Arts at Queens College of CUNY, USA; completed the online, non-credit specialization courses and received the certificate of Integrative Health and Medicine from School of Nursing, University of Minnesota. She also received special training in facial acupuncture, moxibustion and Qi Gong.

Tim Monaco, A.P., Dipl.O.M., LMT
Tim Monaco holds a Master of Science in oriental medicine, and a Bachelor’s degree in professional health studies from the Florida College of Integrative Medicine. Tim is NCCAOM Board certified, and a Florida licensed Acupuncture Physician certified in Acupuncture Injection Therapy. Tim has been a licensed massage therapist for over 25 years, practicing in California, Oregon, and now in Florida. He has studied various manual therapy techniques, such as myofascial, deep tissue, and sport massage, incorporating them into his treatments. Tim also has an extensive background in sports performance, corrective exercise training, manual muscle testing, and study of movement patterns. His background includes extensive studies in holistic nutrition, herbs, and supplements, as well as Functional medicine.

Cassondra Pavlatos, A.P., Dipl.O.M.
Cassondra Pavlatos holds a Bachelor’s degree in both biology and French with a minor in international studies from Loyola University Chicago. After graduating, she moved to Miami for a graduate program in molecular and biomedical sciences at Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine. Upon completion, and after discovering the wide span of treatment modalities encompassed by a license in acupuncture, she opted against medical school and chose to study traditional Chinese medicine at Florida College of Integrative Medicine. During her time at FCIM, Cassondra earned the Trudy McAlister Foundation Scholarship, Lynn Thames Scholarship, and Society of Acupuncture Research Conference Scholarship. She also received extra training in facial acupuncture and Master Tung acupuncture. She now has her Master of Science in oriental medicine, and a third Bachelor’s degree, in professional health studies. Cassondra is a NCCAOM board certified and licensed Acupuncture Physician certified in Acupuncture Injection Therapy. She specializes in working with pain management, facial acupuncture, sleep disorders, gastrointestinal issues, post-operative care, scar tissue, weight management, headaches, and emotional complaints such anxiety and depression.
